Foundation

The institute known as Fundación Centro Educativo de Panamá, was founded in May 1996.

The Institute

Is a boarding school providing Islamic knowledge & Human values together with all levels of secular education.

Vision

To be the first Islamic Centre in Latin America imparting Islamic knowledge, divine concepts, and secular education in an environment of Islam and Deen, with the capacity to accommodate over 300 students.

Brief history

Over these 25 years, The Institute has had more than 400 students, amongst them, approximately 110 have become Hafiz of the Holy Quran and more than 60 Have completed their Alim course.

Diversity of students

We have students from Panama and most of the countries of the American Continent, such as United States, Canada, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, Belize, Honduras, Guatemala, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Brazil and previously we had students from Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina, El Salvador etc.

Situation of Central & South America students

Most of the students coming from these countries have exceptionally low financial resources, so due to their situation.  The Institute coordinate all the expenses such as land and air transport, daily expenses, any medical issue etc. from the time leaving their houses and staying at The Institute until their returning.

Where does your money go?

in’shaa’Allah with your donations and efforts we will be able to keep an institute of deen running which is taking cross-continent students, year in year out.

in’shaa’Allah we will be able to ensure the best possible facilities are available in the Masjid and madrassa as well As the teachers being given a living wage so they are able to focus on educating.

Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. People do not gather in the houses of Allah, reciting the book of Allah and studying it together, but that tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will cover them, angels will surround them, and Allah will mention them to those near him.Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
